theminister
I really think Johnston is the best fit right now. Offensive, good with youngsters, calm and intelligent. He a modern, systems coach. Perfect for our team. His experience in the city and organization means he should settle into the role easily. His lack of head coaching experience in the NHL would not be a concern for me. He has experience working with professionals.
sabatoge95
1. Trotz2. Stevens3. McLellanThose are my top 3 picks. Maybe get Mike Johnston as the assistant to replace Sullivan, though the coach will probably pick his assistant.
"Bull" Horvat
Blashill won't be made available by Holland and McLellan is staying. I'm hoping for Trotz/Shaw/Johnston (if we move Kes) now

theminister
How about Kurt Russel as his Herb Brooks character. Why not just get zombie Herb Brooks? I think he's available.
Gollumpus
Three seasons, three coaches? Big deal. In 1996 they had three coaches in one year, which was topped by 1984's four coaches in one year.. regards, G.

Yeah, he's not exactly 'fresh.' / Too soon? // Seriously, though, the next coach should be a good bet to be around for a few years for stability. Johnston has the best chance of that. I like Stevens too and would prefer to have both men but I'd be a little surprised if Johnston comes back to the NHL to be an assistant. Never know though.
