-DLC-
what happend when raffi was here deb??? whats that??? we went to the finals??? oh yeah ... where have we gone since he has left??? nowhere you say?? we lose because we are not good enough deb not because of the refs not because of the league....even thou most of the fans like to play the victim roll im glad at leased our players dont and they except responsibility for losses... blaming the refs is the most childish thing in all of sports. there are only 2 excuses for losses....1 the other team was just flat out better you played a hell of a game and just came up short.. or 2... you didnt give it your all and you failed yourself... So we won the cup? I loved Raffi/didn't want him to go....but, as a Canuck, he was going to be dealt with severely and with extreme scrutiny. They throw their book at us any chance they get. What was the crap with Auger? So that's "normal"? No, it's not. There is an agenda and some are afforded leeway (murder) while others are on a short leash. Just how it is. Blaming the refs is not "childish"...happens. Do you not follow others sports? You don't think there's any corruption to be had? Or course there is - it's a business involving $$. The refs have been completely biased in their application of the rules. Your million quesion marks don't change that.
King Heffy
Knowing our luck we'll hire Benning and he'll bring Ratchand here for a steal. Linden had better tell Benning that a condition to his being hired is never letting that worthless filth put on a Canucks jersey. It would be Messier 2.

pianoman13
I think him and lucic are the only two players (who are productive) that I wouldnt really want on the team. I would be fine with Kieth, brown, doughty, bolland even, all of them. Just would take me a while to get used the those two
-DLC-
So, for you (hockeystache), emotion over character? Lucic is demonstrating some real character flaws recently. That team has - arrogance backed up by thuggery. They're now being exposed - falling down all over the place with dives. Thomas - he was a peach, wasn't he? No, no thanks. Don't want any dirty Bruins tainting my team. Messier was one of those types of guys...what did he do for us? Squat, that's what.

In all that time the Bruins have always played the way they do. It is a mindset that comes from the fans and Bruins management caters to it. Case inpoint is how quickly Iginla embraced the Bruins koolaid. He has always had a physical edge but he wasleading the Bruins charge in a few of those games. I think of Keith as a dangerous guy on the ice. I think of guys like Scott Stevens who were also dangerous on the ice in so many ways but within the rules and not really cheap shot guys outside of the regular shenanigans. Lucic and Keith are extremely talented players but are dangerous and neglectful on the ice. That's a dangerous combination. There is a passion in playing to win and a lot of hard hitting tough nose s**t kickers go out on the ice and play that style without being dangerous. I say the same for Marchand except I don't think he's extremely talented. He's like Burrows in that his skill comes from never giving up. None the less still dangerous in the same way as the other two. I actually don't mind guys like Doughty and Bolland. They're mouthy but really anybody who cheers for a couple of our own boys can't be unwilling to have some talented mouth pieces.

He has always had a physical edge but he was leading the Bruins charge in a few of those games. I disagree with this. There is a definite difference to the current bruins to the teams in the 80's and 90's. I can't go back any further because I wasn't really old enough to remember much but what the Bruins are now is vastly different to what they were during the Bourque era. I also don't think Iginlas game changed at all really. Other than slowing down a bit; and looking a little happier than he did the last few years he played for the big C. If I'm going to take a Bruin I want guys like Bergeron or Krejci, or versatile role player guys like Kelly. I actually really like all three of those guys. On a team I don't hold a lot of respect for these are three guys I absolutely enjoy watching.

The 90's Bruins were the team that realized they just couldn't get Borque that cup he desered and moved him for no reason then to get it for him. Not sure when they went from class to ass but it wasn't during the 90's.

Tearloch7
The Bruins are mindful of a 'gang of miscreant schoolyard bullies whose time is up', and Jarome has never had much class in my eyes .. his true 'self' has been revealed, and, "tainted' is the 'word of the day'! BananaMash
It's a shame that Marchand hasn't figure out how to shut his yap and just play, because he's a pretty talented player when he does.
