Now that is extreme and not about to happen but there's no reason to fear it even if it did. Keep in mind that unless we get a couple LNG miracles the goverment, no matter who it is, is going to be very much in need of tax dollars in the attempt to try to fund healtcare in an increasingly older demographic base. There's going to need to be some serious structural reforms whether people like it or not. Best to start thinking of cost effective ways to do so. Won't have to (knock on wood): "British Columbia's forestry and manufacturing sectors are benefiting from a rebound in home construction in the United States. These sectors will help B.C.'s economy grow by 2.4 per cent this year, an improvement from less than 2 per cent growth in 2013" Economy is getting better - BC is currently projected to be the 2nd best in Canada (behind Alberta) as far asa economic growth goes.
