-Vintage Canuck-
The Pioneer Press is reporting that Ilya Bryzgalov will not return to the Minnesota Wild for the 2014-15 season. That would mean more options for the Canucks if they decide to sign a goaltender via FA: After negotiating the NHL's most fluid goaltending situation last season, the Wild appear to be going with the same cast in 2014-15. General manager Chuck Fletcher said Friday he expects Niklas Backstrom, Darcy Kuemper and Josh Harding to be healthy and ready to compete for playing time when training camp begins in September. All were at one time the No. 1 goaltender last season, and none finished the season there. Harding didn't play after Dec. 31 because of syptoms related to multiple sclerosis, with which he was diagnosed in Fall 2012. Backstrom started the season with an abdominal injury that finally ended his season in a March surgery. Kuemper, a revelation as a rookie, suffered two concussions, the second in the first round of the playoffs. He finished the season backing up Ilya Bryzgalov, who won't be back. http://www.twincities.com/wild/ci_25915125/wild-gm-chuck-fletcher-expects-josh-harding-back

scarecrowtruth
Bryzgalov, Brodeur, Miller...we need a solid veteran goalie who can play 35-40 games as we continue to develop Eddie. Brodeur is unlikely to happen because he doesn't want to finish his career as a back up.

Pavel_Burrows
I would pass on Bryzgalov. Maybe sign Brodeur or Miller for the right price.
Gross-Misconduct
Bryz gets piled on for his 'wacky' personality more than for his play. He's actually not that bad a goalie. I don't think he'd be a fit here but he can easily play backup for a lot of teams and probably start for a few if the situation called for it. Merci
Bryz personality would fit so well with lack and markstrom. Too bad we got markstrom bryz would be great with eddie. And he had flashes of brilliance against chicago. And stinkers....

smokes
I'd rather have Torts back as a coach than Bryzgalov for a goaltender.
