They should thank God that the New Orleans decided to drop one of the more iconic identities in the league and for some forsaken reason wanted to be the Pelicans. I mean getting rid of the awful Bobcats identity and the losing associated with it can only help this Charlotte team. I forget the sales figures for merchandising and home game tickets, but they were through the roof. Such an effective marketing move. But as bad as the Bobcat image was, trading it for the Pelicans in the league isn't exactly a welcomed trade-off, lol. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
