nuckin_futz
LeBron James could be set to take his talents somewhere else again. According to ESPN's Chris Broussard, James' agent Rich Paul has told the Miami Heat that his client will exercise the early termination clause in his contract, making him a free agent. In his four seasons with Miami, the Heat have won two NBA titles in four appearances, while James captured two MVP awards and two Finals MVP awards while averaging 26.9 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game and 6.7 assists per game. The 29-year-old had two years remaining on his deal with the Heat worth $20.5 million in 2014-15 and $22.1 million in 2015-16. http://www.tsn.ca/nba/story/?id=455577

MJDDawg
Yeah, heard about it. One of the rumours is that he and Mello want to play together. Mello opted out of his last year yesterday. His wife tweeted a pic of Akron on a map with this yesterday: mrs_savannahrj 1 day ago Home sweet home!! The countdown is real! #330Follow
timberz21
Rumors was out for a while, apparently he could re-sign with the Heat to a lower cap hit to make room for Anthony or other help. Doubt Bosh and Wade do the same since they are on the downhill and could get shafted.

Alchemy Time
Could he just be doing it to resign with the Heat for a lot less money? Just out of curiosity.

Tangelos
Why!? Who does that? Walking away from one of the best teams in the league? And he's not even supposed to be a ufa? I don't follow the nba that much but is this a common occurrence or something? What kind of league allows players to just opt out of their contract? MayRayDown
Biggest waste of talent this world has ever seen. Can't stand the waste of skin. He's been carrying the heat for awhile. His talent would of been wasted in cleveland and now would be wasted in Miami since the GM build a old team that is now on the decline (Wade, Birdman) Not like he is leaving a good team to join a great team, he is leaving an mediocre team
Stizz19
yeah when he joined the heat 4 years ago Wade was still elite. Wade's knees are done so he's nowhere near as effective. Bosh is really inconsistent and Chalmers had a horrible year. Bring on Melo
rawkdrummer
boo hoo for James, aka "the face of the NBA" The NBA deserves constant embarrassment for treating Vancouver and Seattle the way they did.
Raoul Duke
Biggest douche in sports, IMO. Did we ever see Jordan act like this? Gretzky? This guy constantly wants to be known as one of the greatest ever and yet can't stop showing how big of a man-child he is.
