sharnhayre
As per CapGeek: CHRIS TANEV'S QUALIFYING OFFER IS FOR $1,500,000. Because his base salary of $1,500,000 is greater than or equal to $1,000,000, it does not receive an increase for the purposes of his qualifying offer. NOTE: It must be a one-way qualifying offer if a) the player appeared in 180 or more NHL games in three previous seasons; the player appeared in 60 or more NHL games the previous season; and c) the player did not clear waivers during the previous season. Backup goaltender appearances count as games. Thresholds in a) and are altered for 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 to account for the 2012-13 lockout-shortened season. They are as follows: 2012-13: 156 and 36, 2013-14: 156 and 60, and 2014-15: 156 and 60 I think he is worth a bit of a raise from $1.5.. I smell bridge contract
Mackcanuck
According to Capgeek ZACK KASSIAN'S QUALIFYING OFFER WOULD BE FOR $850,500.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
No more than 3 mil for Tanev, or we split with him Kassian im comfortable around 1.5-2 mil range. If we resign them...that is.

timberz21
Both rejects, new contract won't be sign until mid-july, after UFAs. If Tanev makes it through the weekend
Tangelos
Don't see why they wouldn't just give them bridge contracts. We have plenty of cap space and it's not like we're getting any expensive FA.

They'll get them (if Tanev's still here). This is simply to retain their rights and allow for negotiation and/or arbitration.

Watermelons
Please keep Tanev! I think he still has a lot of upside and he's going to become one of the Canucks top defenders for years to come

Ossi Vaananen
QO's mean we retain their rights past July 5th, it's not meant to be an actual contract offer. Hopefully both sides can avoid arbitration as it almost always leaves a sour taste. A fair offer for Tanev 2.5-3m, for Kass 2m.
From.The.Point
Calm down guys, qualifying offers are to retain rights Dont know if I can handle changing my Kassian jersey again. Hodgson--->Kassian---->???
aGENT
Not a chance at 1.5M. What a slap in the face If you're not going to read other posters comments at least go look up what a qualifying offer is (and how it's not remotely a "final" offer). In other news, we havent qualified Schroeder That is interesting...
