Saying that the Selke barely counts as an award is pretty dumb. Elite two-way forwards are so important to a team, and hard as hell to find. Many fans (and players) have much respect for Bergeron, so is it really a surprise he won? Subban on the other hand is both loved and loathed by many. While he does have incredible offensive skill for an OFD, he's got one hell of an attitude and ego and that can easily turn people away from voting him. That's what happens when you let fans vote.
