DownUndaCanuck Posted March 5, 2017 Share Posted March 5, 2017 He's getting much better as the season's gone on. Hopefully he's the starter all the way next season, plays big minutes and big games and ideally gets some playoff action too. If he continues this trajectory he'll have a Schneider-like AHL season next year. He's certainly got the pedigree and potential. Then slot him into the NHL the following season. Speaks to the growth of the Canucks top to bottom and how the young players are totally engaged. It also make me think maybe the Canucks can survive with a Markstrom Bachman tandem next year with Demko ready/willing/able to step in when the time comes. Miller's $$ can be used elsewhere and we open up the pathway for Thatcher. With Miller back he's almost definitely Utica bound and I'd rather him believe there is an opportunity if he earns it.
