Popular Post Tracksuit
Hulking d-man, former Canucks prospect, looking to make NHL comeback Mike Olivson · 20 janvier 2020 A giant of a man, listed at 6'7" and weighing 265lbs, Nikita Tryamkincould be an intriguing addition to Vancouver's defensive corps. The former Canucks' third round pick from 2014 left the team as an RFA to return to Russia in April of 2017. He was unhappy with his lack of playing time and was having trouble adjusting to life in North America. Over two seasons with the Canucks, he played in 79 games, putting up 11 points and 74 PIMs. Over the last two years, he has enjoyed moderate success with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg of the KHL, but according to Alexey Shevchenko of Sport Express, he is regretting leaving the NHL, blaming it on the emotional inexperience of youth. Now 25, Tryamkin is ready to get down to business Just a story I saw on a feed looks like he’s matured and the fact he blames his own emotions is a real positive and learning experience. Sure Hope he makes a return and for the Canucks. 2 3

He seems to like his home country Well, given all the statements from Tram, his agent and JB, you are very likely going to be shocked then. Personally, I think that there is more than a 90% chance that he will be wearing Canucks colours starting sometime in 2020. I'm not tryin' to be a Debbie Downer, but I don't see the point in discussing how much better we'd be when he's not even in the league. It's all speculative, right? There have been quotes from NT and his agent Todd Diamond over the last 12 months that lean heavily for his return to Vancouver. Everyone is just staying politically correct at this moment, but I think we will know what direction this young man is going within 10 days of his season ending. “Season ending” being when either his regular season ends , or his playoff season ends. His first season here, I believe he was practicing with us on the 6th or 7th day after his KHL season ended. He played 60- 70 games with us as a 21 year old rookie/ prospect.. looked fantastic.. I don’t think we will see any worse than the game he brought which had Benning offering him a contract to stay. 2 1

Well we certainly don't want any of those players who think they should keep their word and honour their obligations.

Herberts Vasiljevs
Okay, totally hypothetical but just a bit of fun really: Tanev gets traded to the Leafs at the deadline for Kasperi Kapanen, and Tram comes back to Vancouver before the start of the playoffs and wears #8. Anyone? Edited January 23, 2020 by Herberts Vasiljevs 3
deus.ex.makina
if... IF he comes, and by the time then if Tanev and Gaudette would be still there with no jersey's switch, i bet he would wear #80 Edited January 23, 2020 by deus.ex.makina

Hairy Kneel
watched todays game Avto won, Tryamkin had a solid game in a 3-1 victory. My favorite move was how he broke up a play with his sweeping poke check. Skating backwards the forward thought he had room to move towards the blueline but no he didn't.
N4ZZY
I still think Tryamkin would be an addition to the team. Top four player? Possibly. But i see him more as a depth defenseman who slots into the third pairing. Would Tryamkin accept that role? If he doesn't, he would have to demonstrate he plays better than the other defensemen to replace them in their roles. If not, and he's upset, then trade him for whatever asset we can get. A third round pick for a former third round pick? Sure, why not. OR, he can just go back to Russia.

But he also knows that he can help us get the puck out of our zone with his physical play.with his size and reach, He can just about stop any cycle in our zone on the boards or in the slot, He moves laterally quite well so gets to the endboards quickly. Teams tend to veer away from his side of the ice his side of the ice, which helps defense coverage and takes time and space away from opposing forwards. He will help stop tire fires in our zone for sure, especially against bigger teams. He'd be great for Huggy,

No, not that I saw. Where did you see that? From what I recall, both JB and Tram's agent said they don't expect any real difficulty reaching agreement on a contract.

I believe that was more a case of that they spoke in the summer/fall, everything appeared on track for a return, and there's little to do/no need to speak until his return is closer to imminent (AKA spring, when his season ends).
