No more Benn or Fanta. Benn was really a disappointment this year. I've expected a way more from him. Fanta has played a solid game on the 3rd Dpairing, but lately he's struggling. I think that Tryamkin would be a good fit in our 3rd Dpairing, to sub Fanta. Tanev - Hughes Edler - Myers Tryamkin - Stecher 1
Popular Post Hairy Kneel
Game 2. Tryamkin coming out of the gates skating hard. He was on the ice for virtually the first 5 minutes. With a pk added in there. Early on he skated the puck very hard to get it to the red line twice to dump it in. Sibir was very much up tempo. But I really liked the way Tryamkin gained the red line helped to gain the zone. Mid period Tryamkin skated hard to the red line to send the puck back into the offensive zone. Sibir forward again skating hard tried to hit Tryamkin hard after Tryamkin threw the puck back in, and Tryamkin just braced himself and the forward hit him and bounced off then fell down on the ice injured. He left the game with what looked like a shoulder injury. Without any effort Try knocked the Sibir forward out of the game. Later Tryamkin snuck in off the point for a glorious chance in close. Looks like a set play their starting to use. 0-0 after the first. Second period not as spirited as the first. Tryamkin went in for another chance but followed his shot behind the net and tied up two defenders by holding the puck against the endboards, which created a good chance for his forwards. 0-0 after 2. First half of the 3rd teams trading chances. I'd give Sibir the edge in hits. First to capitalize on a mistake will win. Each team trading glorious chances to score.Of course its OT and I have to go to work. Edited March 6, 2020 by Hairy Kneel 3 5 1

The Big Man is having a fantastic shutdown game, and skating the best I’ve ever seen, so much power in those legs.. Closing gaps in 2 strides effortlessly. 1

A little glitchy on my old computer but really neat anyway. ("Neat": from the 60's, lol.) Tree-Am-Keen's game is in a scoreless tie after the third, heading to overtime. ("Keen": also from the 60's.) Also, Podkolzin's team is in this same list of KHL playoff games. Thanks HH, really appreciate it!

Popular Post SilentSam
Sibir wins 1-0 in OT. Nik IS powerful, fast, dynamic.. I am seeing things in him that I hoped would progress , refine him as an outstanding player.. especially for a man this size. Huge offensive upside to be tapped into.. I beleive he will easily be a top 2 pairing D man on our squad after 1 more full season.. his strength, speed and maturity at this point will surely excellerate that withthe right coaching staff. Perhaps with so much potential in Tryamkin and Podz, a russian assistant Coach could help with a lot. As much as I am sad to see Nik’s team lose today.. I will be very proud of him to see him a Canucks jersey sooner than later. 1 4

I beleive a player this size, this athletic, this coordinationated , who can get through his career with minimal injury, will sustain a high athletic ability fo a long time.. Chara is a fine example. If Nik gets to age 30 with us, expect to see him strong at the same level at 35.. and then who knows.. Chara is an icon, legendary at 40. Nik has THAT. potential.. his career is only getting started. 4 1 1

Hey Sam, is the first round of the KHL playoffs 5 or 7 games, any idea? I agree Nik could be Chara lite, but he needs a little motivation, hopefully Green can provide that, unlike Willy.
