Lol I don't think anyone thought that Gagner was enough to get Yandle, but with a 1st round pick and a prospect? Sure Gagner is not a 2nd line centre I'd want on my team, but MacT sucks more. From TB's standpoint they must have desperately wanted the cap relief for further moves in free agency, so in that case not too bad. Yotes get a useful player in Gagner for nothing, solid for them. He's not singing with them so he's going to be a UFA. It's reported that Boyle wants around $5 mil per. This could have been Tampa clearing cap space so they could sign Boyle.
