So I'll just say no, because Hansen won't be enough and Burrows wont waive. Not giving up any of our top prospects nor our 1st round in 2015. If Ladd were to be traded, which is a possibility because no player is untradeable, don't expect Cheveldayoff to give him away for nothing. Just because Ladd happens to be from BC, that doesn't mean that Cheveldayoff will improve the Canucks roster at the expense of seeing his own get substantially worse. 3. Botchford is the worst. Mr.53 Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 YES. I've been saying all along, if you can't bring in Kane, then bring in Ladd. Good role model for Zack Kassian too. To me, Andrew Ladd is a top 5, maybe top 3 powerforward in the league. The man is all class and leads by example. Would be a huge addition. I think it could really put us into playoff contention. I'm assuming it will be a package focused around Jacob Markstrom but anyway, I hope this goes through.
