RUPERTKBD Posted July 8, 2014 Share Posted July 8, 2014 I'm well aware that there aren't many baseball fans on CDC and I also know that there is an existing MLB thread, however, to make sure people see it, I decided to create a new one. For those who may not be aware, there is an All-Star game streak in danger of being broken this season. For 17 years in a row, a Canadian has been part of the All-Star game. As it sits right now, it will not be 18 straight seasons, unless Colorado's Justing Morneau is voted in for the last spot on the NL roster. Morneau currently leads the voting for this spot, but things can change quickly and I urge everyone to log into MLB.com and vote for Justin. (I can't post the link because of my crap browser, but it's on the MLB main page) The game this year is to be played in Minnesota, where Morneau spent the bulk of his professional career. It would be a fitting tribute for him to return to Minny as an all-star. The voting concludes on Thursday, so please vote and vote often. Let's send Justin back to Minnesota!
