His overall career spanned 50 years as he was the news anchor on CBC and CTV for many years. Salmon Arm Canuck Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Solid Broadcaster for many years. The 26 yers was just at CKNW. He was working in radio in Prince Rupert in the 1960's. May have let his personal friendship with a few politicians get in the way of asking the hard questions. Full marks for longevity and 3/4 marks for content. He's solid enough but I get the sense lately that this has become just a job. A well paying one he is quick to point out as well. Hard hitting though he is not. I wouldn't agree though that he let's bias interfere with his job he always interviews his guests from the same level and expects them to be as accountable as anyone else. Move up Simi Sera.
