Sedin. Vrbata Jensen. Bonino. Kassian Mathias. Horvat. Vey Dorset. Lain. Zalewski Sestito Hamhuis. Bieksa Sbisa. Tanev Stanton. Corrado/Weber Miller Markstrom Therefore..... Expendable pieces or assets: Alex Burrows Brad Richardson Chris Higgins Jannik Hansen Alex Edler Eddie Lack What do you guys think these above trading assets could be worth? Besides all those guys can be replaced within. that would be 4 really decent lines. Being able to have 2 really strong lines and to roll 4 on a reg basis will be huge for the twins. its always been shut down the twins were usually in trouble. with or without kane i think we are much more rounded and a lot harder to play again. Isnt anybody else bored of higgems hanson richardson? Especially if it allows us cap space to take on a contract and open spots for the young guys? Alex Burrows, only if the return is legit. He's going to bounce back - I know it. I agree with your forwards - though they are all quality players, they are expendable. Lack? Hell no... he may be our future after Miller. Edler? His value is lower right now; I'd give him a year under new management to see if he can get at least close to his former self. I think everyone is tradable except a few pieces. The Sedins look to be Canucks until they retire, Linden has vouched for Edler, meaning Edler refused to waive his NTC... Again... Burrows refused to waive his NTC, Miller was just signed and with a full year with a better team than Buffalo, he'll be a beauty, Vrbata was just signed for only two years and to me it sounds like a bridge contract until Lucic is available. Anyone else in the entire system is available for the right price. Benning also said that if a kid comes up and takes a position on the team, that such a player will be accommodated. I like the idea of having a rotating door for under performers as well as players who don't want to be part of the team, but most of all, if a deal is too good to pass up, it's oo good to pass up. I don't want someone who can't pull the trigger. Burrows might become distraction if he cannot find his form again. If he does, he's most likely on the top line with the Sedins, pissing Vrbata off since he has signed for the sole purpose of playing with the Sedins... Lots of stuff to think about this season. As much as I love Lack, he is very much so expendable, even more so than Markstrom. Lacks value is much higher than Markstroms right now and Markstrom is younger with a higher ceiling. No team will trade more than a puck for Markstrom where we can get a pick (2nd) for Lack...
