7thMan
Nashville will still have over $10 million in cap space. If Ribeiro and Roy can get their games back to where they were a couple of years ago, they could have a great team.
Steve Carell
It's a new era - Roy can't perform in the West. The Canucks, The Blues.. we'll see the same thing with the Preds.
TimberWolf
1 year..I think he'll eventually play for every team before he's done.

theminister
$1 mil each for Ribiero, Roy and Volchenkov is a great addition to that team at bargain rates. Add in Neal, Jokinen, Jarnkrok, Forsberg plus the development of their younger D and they'll be interesting this year. If they can hold the fort until Fisher gets back this will be an astute move. theminister
Nashville....stuck in mediocrity because their management wont spend a buck. That's hardly fair. They are paying big deals to Rinne and Weber. They tried to land Spezza too but he refused. They are trying. These are just good value signings. No reason to be critical of them not over committing to a poor UFA class this year.

They've never landed the big fish, and they couldn't even hold on to Suter. Stop trying to defend crappy management. You know why Spezza didn't want to go there?; because he knows the management is too cheap to grab him anybody else to play with.
Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
Roy and Ribeiro are skaters who have to play top six roles if they're to have any value to the club... But who would want them on their top six.....
Dogbyte
Great move. Roy is still quite a good player and should do well given a chance to be a major contributor instead of an afterthought.
