nux4lyfe
BarDown Staff (@BarDown) Jul. 17, 2014 2:12 PM Photo: BarDown Less than a week ago, LeBron James announced his decision to return to his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers. While many wondered what the NBA would be like if all NBA players went back to their hometowns, we also pondered the possibility if the same were the case in the NHL. The results we found may have Leafs fans and Sens fans in tears, for two completely different reasons. So, without further ado, here are the 7 Canadian teams' rosters, if all their best hometown players, were to dawn their hometown jerseys. Gaawddd dang We'd be stacked!, Championships err year boi!.... Thought this was interesting, pretty cool actually.
Master Mind
Would be Canucks vs Leafs every finals. It is pretty interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Plum
Crosby never plays hockey again.
Master Mind
Crosby never plays hockey again. Crosby and MacKinnon could form a team from Nova Scotia, and it would already be better than Calgary and Edmonton
Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
We are not stacked. Toronto has five franchise players plus the goalie. We're just really big. And I don't like how they made Keith a Wpg guy. If his home is Penticton, he doesn't belong on any team.
Sergei Bobrovsky
What if Ryan Kesler pulled off a Lebron!? Goes to Anaheim just to "learn" what it takes to win a championship, then once his contract is up he signs with the team that drafted him, Vancouver 0:
nux4lyfe
Crosby never plays hockey again. Man, I don't think any US team would stand a chance, yet 'they' take the cup year after year..
Ghostsof1915
I'd take Price over Mason any day.
Watermelons
Wondering how they divided Ontario into Toronto and Ottawa. Someone care to explain how the Senators only get hometown players from Ottawa and two other smallish towns while the Maple Leafs get pickings from not only the biggest city in the entire country but also other major cities in the province. Dion Phaneuf
Wondering how they divided Ontario into Toronto and Ottawa. Someone care to explain how the Senators only get hometown players from Ottawa and two other smallish towns while the Maple Leafs get pickings from not only the biggest city in the entire country but also other major cities in the province. The other cities are close to Toronto (within 45 mins). Toronto is stacked but the others aren't too far behind..could put up a fight. Calgary and Ottawa wouldn't stand a chance though.
asian player
I'd take Johansen over RNH That would be huge
TheSnipeshow91
Gaawddd dang We'd be stacked!, Championships err year boi!.... Thought this was interesting, pretty cool actually. Rather have Johansen on that 1st line. Also Keith and Weber pairing will be lights out!

Moonshinefe
Pretty interesting. Vancouver has, besides RNH, the biggest and most physical team on the list. We'd definitely have one of the top 3 rosters in this chart.
JE14
I'd take Johansen over RNH That would be huge That would make BC the favourite to win the cup. All big bodies.
Caboose
That would make BC the favourite to win the cup. All big bodies. It wouldn't even be close That Ontario lineup 2 gud.
Chronic.Canuck
Here's a question... Doughty & Subban VS Seabrook & Weber What's your pick? I go team BC 8 days a week. Good lucks scoring.
BeefcakeBo
This seems a bit misleading, some players hometown like Carey Price(Aneheim Lake) are not close to Vancouver but are put on the team. Where players like Giroux don't make the Habs yet are still from Quebec.
CALGARY!
I think you would have to make an entire roster, not just a starting line, then most teams would even out with the amount of plugs that also come from the same areas
CALGARY!
And put of those line ups I think Winnipeg and Toronto are the teams to beat
