Bure to Mogilny
was thinking to do this after the kings comeback against the sharks in round one but thought id wate it out a few months so lets see what people think. this is just the last five years of chockes so what do tyou think is the biggest choke? Is a little bruin heavy but theyve bin on either side recently. 1 bruins giveup 3-0 series lead and 3-0 lead in game 7 to flyers in second round to lose 4-3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU2WwI6YTyc 2 Canucks have 3-2 series lead in cup finals and lose both remaneing games and surrender the cup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm9boBMWqEw 3 2012 leafs bruins first round series tied at 3 and the leafs take 4-1 lead in third period and should of one the series but blow it in unbeleavable choke http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbsj9-JZm4g 4 same year the bruins make it to the cup finals and trale the hawks 3-2 series but take 2-1 lead in game 6 at home and give up to late goals in the final minutes to lose the game and cup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8n72r-CKVI 5 this year the sharks take 3-0 series lead on los angeles but the kings comeback to take the series in 7 out scoring them 18-5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MO-RmXtge8

AriGold
Nothing in history to me was as bad as what the Sharks did this year. Not any sport has seen a total collapse of the clear cut better team then that series.
Keslerific
Sharks losing 4 in a row, the Kings were something like the 8th team in league history to do it.
UFCanuck
Is this a joke? There's only ever been one answer.
Jiggs50
After dominating like they did earlier in the series, the Sharks have to be number 1. Leafs come in 2nd. The fact that the Kings won the cup, wow. Screw you sharks...
RogerEpic5
What the hell ? Toronto didnt have a 4-1 series lead.. it was a 3-1 series lead. And yeah I picked that..
Tom Sestito
Canucks didn't choke. I think 33/35 teams who were in our position of being 2-0 in the finals went on and won the cup, so yes we did choke. Just not as hard as the Sharks.
Go Faulk Yourself
Sharks easily. They dominated the series for the first three games, and then got exactly that in the remaining four.
Sweathog
Canucks didn't choke. I have to agree, they didn't choke, they got dragged into a very physical series which they didn't have the personnel to play that type of game. As far as the biggest chokers, gotta say the Sharks. Apple Juice
No doubt the Sharks. Don't think they'll ever get rid of their reputation as playoff chokers until a few years after Thornton and Marleau are gone. (not saying they're chokers themselves but with them on the Sharks, the Sharks never get past the 2nd round).

Rex425
I'll be the first one to say the bruins because they blew a Freakin 3 goal lead. Up 3-0 in the series, up 3-0 in game 7, they still managed to lose. Sharks weren't even supposed to win before the series started, I had a feeling they would choke. Warhippy
It's a toss between the Sharks and Bruins for collapsing after a 3-0 lead. But consider. LA rolled San Jose big deal. But Philli rolled Boston in the Eastern Conference finals came back from a 3-0 deficit and then won game 7 4-3 after being down 3-0? They also did it against Thomas with frigging backup #11 in net Then Toronto vs Boston for sure Canucks don't really come in to that equation
canucks155
1st Bruins one. At least the Sharks lost to the eventual Stanley Cup winners.
Bure to Mogilny
I didnt think itd be this lopsided. I selected bruins choke last year because it was for the cup. The frickin cup! They had a control in game six to send it to game 7 with momentun and they bleiw it with two minutes to go to lose the cup!! To me is more signifcant choke then the 3-0 reverse sweeps cause those were round 1. Is also why i put the canucks cup loss but for me is not as bad as last years

MayRayDown
I think 33/35 teams who were in our position of being 2-0 in the finals went on and won the cup, so yes we did choke. Just not as hard as the Sharks. Ran into injuries and suspensions and the officiating was questionable. Bruins injuries just had Lucic with a hurt toe. Almost blowing a 3-0 series facing the hawks is more of a choke. But I vote TOR vs BOS. SJS vs LAK is a close second
CanuckBoss
Nucks did not choke Roster entering the playoffs vs roster game 7 Stanley cup Was like nhl vs ahl Everyone was crippled, we only had Lu Bruins r the chockers
