CanuckFanForever1123
Hoping this is the right forum for this discussion. So I was born and raised in California and have lived here all my life, however, I just recently accepted a job in Washington (South Seattle area) and will be moving up there pretty soon. I've never actually moved before, so I just wanted to see if anyone had any good advice. I am hiring a moving company to get my stuff once I find an apartment up there. Does anyone have any advice on things to look for when apartment hunting? Is it possible to negotiate rent prices? Stupid but important question.... Does anyone know if I would get Canucks home games on local TV up there since they are the closest team? I don't want to keep paying for NHL gamecenter. Any tips about moving, apartment advice, or anything at all will come in handy! Thank you. Link to comment
aGENT
- There's very little difference across the interstate border, aside from the taste of American milk. What the hell is in that crap? A crap ton of hormones, antibiotics and garbage. I don't buy organic milk in Canada (we actually have pretty good food/farming standards for our milk/cows) but in the US if it isn't organic it's a total no-go. Link to comment
AppleJack
Everytime I visit my American friends I have to watch canuck games online, so I think you would probably have to keep nhl center ice... or maybe see if they have some kind of cable package that includes hockey? good luck with your move Link to comment
CatsPajamas
Don't take things you don't use. It makes the process of moving much easier. Link to comment
