Emelin apparently had lain him out in the 1st)... with under 2 minutes left, trailing MTL by 1 goal and had a little tantrum. "Raised the cup" while in the box, to fans... and bitched at the ref after MTL's EN goal, getting thrown out the final half minute. Deserves way more respect than what we've shown. Absolutely loved him as a Giant. You could tell he was going to be a horse. Silly the Canucks passed on him considering he was in their backyard and all. Hate the Bruins though. So I'm part of the love-hate relationship as well I guess. Lucic has said he wanted to come play for the Canucks (see my sig for what he said) after his time with the Bruins... However, that was before the finals and everything (church vandalism, altercation outside mean poutine, popcorn thrown at grandparents, etc.) that came with it. Despite all that, he said this “As I have had more time to think, I want to make it clear that regardless of what has happened, I am still — and always will be — proud to be from there. He even chirped fans with a "raise the cup" action as he went INTO the penalty box... after mock jerking off at them!! Kids: what's he doing daddy?? lol Would make a top 10 list of most classless players. I don't want him on Canucks team ever unless he totally changes.. the way he always is (unlikely) He should be suspended for the jerking off action... unless the NHL thinks that's a good part of the game? Maybe it's time you started watching figure skating, or some other sport that doesn't upset your silly little sense of outrage. Personally, I have less disdain for a guy who hates to lose and lets his emotions get the better of him because of it, than I do a guy who purposely took a running elbow at Daniel Sedin's head and basically ended any chance the Canucks had at a successful playoff in 2012. As for the Edler thing he's probably right. As a hockey player he's average. As a Defenseman.....well that -39 last year says about all you need to know of his defense abilities. Burrows and Kelser crossed a line there and Keith's taunt at Backes way across the line, considering the current situation with concussions in professional sports. The goal is to try an throw the other player off his game, and most players do it. It's different than what takes place once the game is over.
