Dogbyte
Nice, I like Archibald. I think he has some potential, he just needs to keep building confidence. He started out good with the big club last year but tailed off and then didn't get subsequent call ups.
avelanch
Darren just needs to learn to not change his play style when getting called up.
ItsMillerTime
Im guessing were not signing Virtanen and our other prospects?

Van_City123
Really want Archibald to get a shot with the team at some point this season. I think he's a better option the Sestito.
Bilbro Baggins
I think DeFazio is a dark horse to make the 4th line this year. Gives it his all every shift and has pretty good speed
Derp...
Good news. accepted QO's then?
insomniac604
I have seen lots of Archibald love over the last couple years. Yet when it matters most, he does very little. Don't know if the pressure gets to him or what. But if he doesn't steady himself he will be in Utica forever
Plum
I didn't like Archibald's game when he came up to the NHL I thought Lain was more impressive but both are still quite young.
Tom Sestito
I have seen lots of Archibald love over the last couple years. Yet when it matters most, he does very little. Don't know if the pressure gets to him or what. But if he doesn't steady himself he will be in Utica forever Utica fans have been saying the same thing. They think he's an AHL lifer. The guy they like is Kellan Lain. When he's on his game, they win every time. With a 1-2-3 of Pelletier - Gaunce - Lain, we're due to make the playoffs next season IMO. apollo
These both 2 way contracts I assume. Don't know much of defazio but archy isn't a bad call up for the 4th line if Tito has to move to the 3rd barring lots of injuries.
elvis15
Im guessing were not signing Virtanen and our other prospects? I'm guessing it's July and there's still plenty of time? Good signings in both players though. DeFazio was a hard worker and made an impact in Utica last year, while Archibald will see NHL time as well being an impact player in Utica. Utica fans have been saying the same thing. They think he's an AHL lifer. The guy they like is Kellan Lain. When he's on his game, they win every time. With a 1-2-3 of Pelletier - Gaunce - Lain, we're due to make the playoffs next season IMO. Pelletier's no longer with Utica.

canucklehead44
Archibald looks like an NHL player overall, but does he bring enough of any one thing to earn a role?Overall he is a better player than say Tanner Glass, but his fighting ability is lacking. VegasCanuck
Im guessing were not signing Virtanen and our other prospects? Its like a month since the draft, how can you possibly come to that conclusion?
avelanch
I have seen lots of Archibald love over the last couple years. Yet when it matters most, he does very little. Don't know if the pressure gets to him or what. But if he doesn't steady himself he will be in Utica forever he lead his team in junior to the OHL Final, going nearly a PPG, then the next year he went a PPG and was the player of the week in the playoffs. the pressure isn't the problem. avelanch
Im guessing were not signing Virtanen and our other prospects? we can sign them, and then their contracts will slide/not count against the limit
Bang Bang Boogie
Archibald was brutal in his last call up here. He looked tentative, was slow and offered nothing physically. I really hope he can show much more than that next time he's up here.
