The Ottawa Senators have agreed to terms on a three-year, $6.675 million deal with restricted free agent goaltender Robin Lehner, the team announced on Thursday.

Lehner, 23, had a record of 12-15-6 last season.

In 61 regular-season NHL games, Lehner has a 21-24-10 record, along with a 2.82 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.

The 23-year-old netminder was drafted in the second round, 46th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

My friend who's a die-hard Sens fan doesn't seem to like Lehner at all. I'm not sure why, but he said he was nervous every time he was in last season.

Maybe that's true.. I don't know. But he looks solid as ever. And that's what matters most.
