Rex425
This can be good or bad. Short term to prove himself.
RogerEpic5
Great signing.. he was one of they only penguins in the playoffs that was actually putting up crucial points..
CanucksFanMike
this is the type of deal where the Pens could get burned real bad if Sutter fulfills his potential....
DrChill
this is the type of deal where the Pens could get burned real bad if Sutter fulfills his potential.... What is his potential? 2c? Seems like a good 3c is who he is

TOMapleLaughs
Solid deal. Would not have been that low without the presense of franchise players Sid and Geno onboard. Instead it would have been comparable to Brassard money.
missioncanucksfan
Great signing.. he was one of they only penguins in the playoffs that was actually playing his @ss off..fixed it for ya.... Would much rather of had Sutter over Matthias In the end the Pens offer of Sutter/Dumoulin/1st(#23)+3rd was better than what we got from Anaheim Plus Kesler woulda been in the east
Toews
Solid deal. Would not have been that low without the presense of franchise players Sid and Geno onboard. Instead it would have been comparable to Brassard money. The Rangers are betting on Brassard producing more in an increased role. That's not a gamble I would ever make with Sutter. Master Mind
Considering what some other 3C's are getting, this isn't bad at all.
cdubuya
I'm not too worried cause I read on CDC last March that this guy is garbage
AFrame14
Solid deal. He's a pretty good 3c and for that money it's a good deal. Look at what bolland got!

That's not a gamble I would ever make with Sutter.Hmmm, both players had increased roles on lesser teams before and had fairly similar production. Sutter 17g 47pts. Brassard 21g 40pts. Different style centers, but both could demand $5mil per easily imho. Depending on what happens in Pittsburgh, I can see Sutter leapfrogging Brassard's salary, but for now it's a great discount. CanuckFanForever1123
He is one of those guys that goes out every shift and plays 110%, and I really admire him for that. He's never gonna score more that 45-55 points in a season most likely, but he plays a great two way game and puts everything on the line every shift. Great deal for the Pens. William_Clarkson
With the cap up that's a pretty good deal.
Hugor Hill
They would've preferred not having Suttor on their team at all this summer.
CroSen
Sutter was also one of the rare bright spots for the Pens in the play offs. I know lots of folks will be comparing Bonino and Kesler this season, however I am keeping my eye on Sutter as he was also rumored in a Kesler deal.
