(Proposal) Van-NSH

Recommended Posts

Fair deal. I think both sides wouldn't mind doing it. Preds still get a good prospect who's shown he has what it takes at the NHL level in Jensen and get depth in Hansen. We shed cap and get a better version of Jensen and a higher pick.

Like the idea and makes sense, +1 OP. Though I wouldn't trade Jensen just yet as he's shown he's clicking with us. Maybe if he started slacking and it became in concerning then but for now, I would keep Jensen personally. Realistic idea though.

I don't think you know what you're talking about

I assume you are talking about my comment on Hansen.

Hansen isn't a poor player, but in a cap world he doesn't bring anything soecial to the table. The NHL is littered with "Hansens"

You aren't going to substantially improve your prospect and draft pick by tossing in a fungible player.

This.

The sooner some on the proposals forum realize this the better the proposals will be. However with a little tweaking, specifically with the picks this could be a realistic idea/proposal.

If dorsett can get a 3rd hansen can get an early 3rd-late 2nd. Versatile, hard working forwards like Hansen don't come too often. Jensen is a future No. 2 winger while Forsberg is more of a No. 1/2 offensive weapon. It's not such a huge hole in terms of value.

No way Nashville does this, Forsberg is their best prospect (a lot more valuable then Jensen) and they don't need any more NHL forwards. If they make a trade they are likely moving a forward off their team not acquiring one.

Lol both of your points are incorrect

1. Forsberg is their best prospect? That means he's better than Seth Jones, Calle Jarnkrok, Ryan Ellis and Fiala ( Fiala could very well become a stud )?

2. The last thing Nashville needs is another defenseman. They are already super stacked on defense, and Rinne is one of the best in the game today. Offense has always been an issue in Nashville

1. Jones and Ellis aren't prospects and most including myself would consider Forsberg above Jarnkrok and Fiala.

2. Please show me where I said they needed another defender or goalie? They have a full NHL roster essentially and they have no room for Hansen.

Lines might not be right but something like this:

Cullen - Jokinen - Neal

Forsberg - Ribeiro - Smith

Bourque - Jarnkrok - Wilson

Stalberg - Gaustad - Nystrom

Roy - Clune

(Fisher on IR)

Hansen isn't exactly an offensive weapon and wouldn't crack the top 9 on Nashville.

Wait what 2 jokinens? Fact is, adding Hansen would somewhat relieve the loss of Spaling on the third line. And yes, he would crack the top 9. As for Forsberg being their best prospect, that is debatable. Jarnkrok and Scissons were doing very well in the big show. Fiala, too early to tell, but IMO he has higher offensive upside than Forsberg.

Ribeiro and clearly you know a lot about Sissons and their other prospects without even knowing how to spell their names.

Congrats you know how to spell his name! Auto correct bud. Hansen is one of the most versatile 3rd liners in the business. He is a great PK player, and has a great 2 way game. Ribeiro was bought in for scoring. He is a 1 dimensional player. Hansen would fill in for Forsberg, and Jensen would come up to the lineup occasionally. The team is young. Guys like Hansen would create competition for the rookies, instead of them being given a spot.

If you need offense you don't use Hansen over Forsberg. Nashville has plenty of wingers capable of playing on PK, they need goals.

Hansen can score, no? So can Jensen. As for PK, they were 25th in that category. Clearly you know about how good their PK unit is. Throwing random stuff isn't going to work bud.
