My dad died last night, I have no idea where to start or what to do. It's just me my sibling and my mom right now.

People will be depending on me to be the man of the house...

I hope things are getting a little better for you..I went through it last year..its not an easy time..

This one particular time at a Canucks game, I think it was in November.  I was sitting next to these two people, conversing with them and drinking,  And they told me they were Oilers fans, and that the Canucks were their second favorite team.  I didn't have anything nice to say, so I had to think of something positive to say, so I said, " Oh yeah, you guy's won the Connor McDavid Sweepstakes." And smiled while saying it, cause it was wine and beer night for me, and the Canucks were winning, and it's always good to say something positive, even when it is a team I don't care for, and there are 28 teams in the NHL I don't care for, sometimes 27 1/2.

This other time, I was flying First Class from San Francisco to Seattle, and there was turbulence, where the flight attendants had to take their seats.  I didn't really feel it, I had a few drinks before getting on the plane.  Well I saw one of the flight attendants up and serving another passenger, and I asked for a glass of wine, and the flight attendant was not pleased, and advised me that all flight attendants needed to be seated, but she would bring me a glass of wine.  Right after I asked, other passengers around me asked for wine.  The turbulence calmed down 30 minutes before landing, which I had 2 more glasses.  I was so sick and hungover the next day.  I guess it was karma for asking for a glass of wine during turbulence.

Confession, I bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend in October. I was gonna propose in the new year... Then we broke up in unexpectly in December. Finally worked up the courage to make the walk of shame back to the Jewlers. Longest walk ever. I couldn't get a refund on the ring, but they gave me a one day only trade in because of how depressed I was, and I got a new Tissot watch out of the deal. So something good did come from it.
