They tried to sell a re-brand of the team as some new gritty tough team, yet the only players they added were Richardson and Santorelli... I like to pretend that last season and everything associated with it never happened. I hope they do a little better this time. Give me some classic rock! Like, a few months into it. Like the Torts hire in the first place, I think intentions were good. If a voice-over and a into video is embarrassing, it's nothing compared to sitting there and watching your team literally stand around in the d-zone while Chicago plays tic-tac-toe through them for an entire period, for example (and there were many last season.) Part of the reason is to do with all those Beer commercials that are just drenched with Canadian pride. This video continued that style of writing and I was just plain sick of it at that point (still am). They way it was filmed combined with the music just doesn't seem to fit the hockey world. Would work as a good warm-up song when they take the ice if they removed the "We are A-L-L-L Canucks". The poem itself isn't bad, but his voice is just too weak for the tone.
