http://thecanuckway.com/2014/09/04/vancouver-canucks-201415-broadcast-schedule-released/ It may not seem like it as you awake from your post Labour Day long weekend hangover, but the 2014 National Hockey League season is nearly here. So close that the long awaited release of the first Vancouver Canucks schedule under the new Canadian national television rights deal with Rogers is finally here as the Nucks broadcast schedule was confirmed this Thursday by new exclusive holders of the majority of NHL broadcasts in Canada. Since the Canucks and Rogers have long been regional broadcast partners, nothing much changes this season other than the obvious lack of telecasts on TSN. Every Canucks game will be shown by Rogers on seven different channels, giving fans of the team the coverage they have came to expect but just under one umbrella in the first year of Rogers 12 year deal with the NHL for broadcasting rights. Perhaps the newest wrinkle will be six games shown on City TV, who will now be showing Sunday games as part of their role in Rogers new broadcast platform. Below is the full Canucks schedule including the preseason so get ready to remember exactly which channel each Canucks game will be on this season in a schedule that will certainly challenge most fans channel surfing skills.PRE SEASONSeptember · Tuesday, Sept. 23, San Jose @ Vancouver, 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET (National Sportsnet 360) · Thursday, Sept. 25, Vancouver @ Calgary, 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET naslundfan921
At first glance it looks like Canucks fans not living in BC are going to see more games on TV this season. If anyone has the numbers I'd be interested in knowing if this Rogers takeover is actually beneficial for fans like me

c00kies
unless your a Canucks fan in Alberta then a lot of those are blacked out I think the National games are for everyone, only the regional games are for that region. Now I don't have Sportsnet at all, as it's not part of the basic package, so I only get to see the 16 CBC games.
BanTSN
No TSN and it feels pretty great. No TSN and if feels pretty good. No CBC either if I only could.
kazin!
My friend works for Shaw. I'm going to ask him what this means for those who only have the basic HD package with them.

Lui's Knob
My friend works for Shaw. I'm going to ask him what this means for those who only have the basic HD package with them. Nothing changes - just lose 3 games with SN 360 since it's not part of basic
