Everyone had good summers. There was good weather in Sweden. Kassian is a bad golfer who hits the ball hard. Edler thinks the core group is good. Daniel is better at the front half than the back half, but usually Henrik comes back and beats him. Edler says swedes don't cheat, Sbisa says Weber cheats like swiss bankers. Sbisa is definitely going to try and prove his doubters wrong because he knows that the top 6 pairing is up for grabs. Corrado/Sanguinetti/Weber/Stanton are all gonna try and push for it. It will be interesting to see who earns it. I hope Sbisa/Stanton do. Would be wise to give Corrado one more year in the AHL after a horrendous YoungStars Tourney. Sedins need to dominate. I think with Vrbata, its reasonable for a 60-70 points for the Sedins respectively. Vrbata could get 50-60 points. Daniel really needs to prove us that he is still that Art Ross calibre player. Or at least a first line winger. I am pretty confident with them. It would be better for Jensen to go back to the AHL for one more year. What's the rush? Let him develop even more now that Fox, Shinkaruk, potentially Valk, Cassels, and a few others are most likely heading there. A Shinkaruk/Fox/Jensen line followed by a Grenier/Cassels/Valk line would make this Utica team a lot more better. I mean if he does great in training camp followed by a strong pre season, he could make it to the team. But he won't and most likely won't start with the Sedins. I think he would be a good call up once injuries happens(which most likely happen). But man the swedes (Sedins/Edler) really need to step it up. Other than that, overall we should be a better team than last year. One thing we really need to draft next year is that franchise defenseman we need desperately... Edler: "I have trained hard in the summer and watched videos to spot and correct my mistakes. " Jsensen: "I will compete hard to make the team." I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing Sekeres and Price were asking golf related questions because they were at the Jake Milford Charity golf tournament. Alfredsson plays a similar game to the Sedins but is slightly faster and has hung in the NHL till what now 40+. Does Alfie kill penalties? nope. Why should the Sedins. I blame torts for the terrible season and strategy, but the Sedins are on a decline and have been but they still have Elite vision and passing abilities. If you don't think that the Sedins can get 60-70pts while playing alongside Vrbata or a uninjured Burrows or an upgraded Kassian you should question your thought. They're not 100pt+ Elites but 60-70pt is still considered really good and would get you into the top 20 in points in the NHL last season. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Them blocking shots, using them in the PK when we had guys like Burrows, Kesler, Hansen, Richardson, heck even Sestito. Nope, lets not roll 4 lines! Let's not use the fourth line because they are useless! Let's use the aging Sedins on the PK to further increasing the chances of them getting injured! But why stop there? Hmm, let's not put Burrows with the Sedins. No no, that would be silly, instead, let's try put Booth, no wait even better, Sestito! But why stop there? Let's completely destroy their chemistry and put Higgins/Sedin/Booth on the top line and put Daniel on the second line! Even better! But why stop.. there? Let's all throw the Sedins under the bus over one season! Let's blame them for our bad PP! Sedin/Sedin/Vrbata. Please, I think the Sedins will get 60-70 points. Very reasonable.
