(Discussion) Need to drop a forward

Ribiero should be dropped. Since when was there a player on Nashville who ever has produced well? Ribiero was bad on a Coyotes team. James Neal is a product of Malkin and Forsberg will be entering his first full year. Sure, they fired Trotz, but with a D that stacked, how else do you expect them to play? Mike Fisher is due to comeback in late November and could very well take that position from Ribeiro.

Palat will start the season with Stamkos, and see where it goes from there. His competition is Kucherov and Druoin. Though there's no guarantees to whether he sticks on that line, Tampa Bay is expected to be an offensive powerhouse and it won't be a problem in the East. Some project them to surprise people and finish in first place of their division. I doubt it, but Stamkos is expected to play out of his mind, so taking a guy who could potentially play with Stamkos is a no brainier.

Zuccarello led the Rangers in scoring last year. What else is there to say? With Stepan out, the first line looks like a mess with an inconsistent Nash, aging St.Louis, and a rookie Duclair, who looks like he should be sent back down, and/or Miller who probably isn't at that level yet. The second line of Zuccarello, Brassard, and Krieder have shown great chemistry last year, and for the majority of the season was the best Ranger's line. They could very well, act like a 1st line, with all 3 players entering their primes. Any or all of them could breakout in production.
