canucksfan10123
I know it's early into the season, but do you guys think Kesler will have a legit chance at the Selke Trophy this season? He has a good start compared to Bergeron and Toews. EDIT: How would you guys feel if he actually did win.

CanucksSayEh
Its very possible. Winning it before gives him a huge boost as we've seen in the past..
Bure to Mogilny
I like to wish guys good luck like hodgson luongo and even less talent like rome but i start to realize not kesler he kinda bugs me and hope he doesnt win.
Amish Rake Fighter
Kesler had a pretty monstrous game today, a goal on 10 shot attempts and 80% on faceoffs. Hodgson, on the other hand, looked like a candidate for a buyout.
Xbox
Chance? Most definitely. But it'll likely be Toews, Bergeron and Kopitar.

DownUndaCanuck
He's looked good so far but the Ducks have played some shocking defences. Detroit's defence is nothing like what it used to, they ran up the score against a pathetic AHL Buffalo defence and Pittsburgh's D is in shambles. Lets see how he does against Minnesota, St. Louis and Chicago in their up-coming games.

Jiggs50
If he can stay healthy he's going to put up 70+. He's just feasting in Anaheim right now. To all the unnecessary hate Kes gets now from Canucks fans suck it...

To all the unnecessary hate Kes gets now from Canucks fans suck it...Unnecessary hate? The guy demanded a trade after one bad season. The whole management was replaced and he still didn't care to give the team another try. The guy is the ultimate douche in my opinion.

Canuck Surfer
He was a Selke nominee 3 years in a row from 2008/9 thru 2010/11. The 2C defensive stud side of the equation has never been in question when Kess is healthy. Put him back as the RHS triggerman on the PP and he also wracks up the points. Ahem, he has that chance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H_yo4vfGcA He'd be one of 5 favorites going into the year in my mind.

To all the unnecessary hate Kes gets now from Canucks fans suck it... I don't think most of the people upset with Kesler have said he's not a talented player. The talent level isn't what pissed the fans off, it's what they think happened with the trade situation.

The whole management was replaced and he still didn't care to give the team another try. The guy is the ultimate douche in my opinion. He did his time here and wanted to move on. He thought he would have a better chance to win else where. He also gets minimal media adversity in Anaheim so I guess that's a plus for him. He got us Bonino, Sbisa and Mccann. In a few years I think we'll be thanking him.
Robongo
I think he definitely could, but I don't think he will. He will be nominated though for sure.

Moonshinefe
Kesler's stats have never earned him a Selke ever. He got lucky the one year with his insane goal scoring because they tend to favour offensive forward for some reason in the defensive forward reward. And no, he won't be winning over Toews, Bergeron, or 3-4 others unless he has a career year on D this time.
