I would say if any Canucks that don't have NTC's play poorly, that makes them candidates to be traded/sent down to the minors. Even the ones that do have NTC's might be asked to waive it if they don't play up to expectations or play up to their salaries as was the case with Garrison last year.

In the case of Sbisa and Markstrom, management might tolerate poor play from them for a while because they are still young and still have potential.

Markstrom is buried in the AHL until a Canuck goalie gets injured. Sbisa will be fine for what he is.

Markstrom could of been had when he was on waivers, his value = bag o' pucks to other teams but he's great insurance for us.

Sbisa was brought in to add some grit to the blueline, he's done that and hopefully he improves his play as his confidence grows.

I think Stanton can add some more toughness as well and I quite like him as 5-6 d-man.
