qwijibo
How does that trade help Edmonton AT ALL?
Warhippy
not interested in giving up the 1st this year at all
Niloc009
Jensen + a 1st (two drafts from now) + crap = Eberle and Hunt? Sure...
YEGCanuck
Forget about helping E-town. Eberle is in a funk and Hunt is not a NHL defenseman. The Canucks do not need a divisional rivals problems.
48MPHSlapShot
I'm sure Edmonton would much rather get a high quality defenseman for Eberle.
ForsbergTheGreat
How about Oilers trade: RNH for Landeskog Hall for Seguin Yakopov for Murray
420since1974
I'm sure Edmonton would much rather get a high quality defenseman for Eberle. That seems to be the consensus on the OMB.
Herberts Vasiljevs
So they would trade Eberle, yet neglect their void of goaltending and defence? Ouch, my brain. It hurts.
komodo1970
How does that trade help Edmonton AT ALL? Agreed. They give up one of their premier players for our throw aways. Don t see it happening. Even if we do have a player or players they want, they either have NTCs or are not players we want to give up. I'm not a fan of giving up draft picks and I have to think that GM is looking for "now" players, not "tomorrow" players. I see nothing here. BeefGormley
this proposal is more of a "help us" then "help edmonton". Which I like, but I ain't giving the 2015 1st. Nope.
ice orca
Eberle has been a floater in every game this year, too many people think these kids othe than Hall are superstars and should garner 3 fist round picks for them. All of them are disasters in the D zone or injury prone like RNH. Not one of them have an once of leadership in them, if they did they would have been in the playoffs last year. The Magician
I wouldn’t do that from the Canucks’ standpoint.
