Tangelos
Only watch the 3rd, but curious, is Kassian progressing at all . Or is it the same old floating?

Gyllenhaal
I think Bonino has finally clicked with Higgins and Burrows. They were flying tonight. Matthias needs to sit out once Horvat is up. He just hasn't been good enough.
DIBdaQUIB
Sedin - Sedin - VrbataHiggins - Bonino - VeyBurrows - Horvat KassianHansen - Richardson - DorsettI like that. Bo will be an upgrade in the circle and is defensively responsible but also an offensive threat. That line would be hard to play against with offensive upside. Could move Burrows and Higgins up and down depending on how they are playing as both bring similar skills.4th line is fast and could be a good energy line and cause some trouble (score)against other teams bottom
Moonshinefe
Kesler - 9GP 3G 4A 7P -1 (5 points on PP) Bonino - 8GP 3G 4A 7P +3 (0 points on PP) Thanks for that. It's always great to see the traded players side by side, and Bonino has been great so far. My take on the game: a couple sloppy plays but overall Miller did his job, the Sedin line continues to do their job, and our secondary scoring came through too. It was a good win for us
Pears
When the Canucks lose, no excuses, team sucks. When the Canucks win, bring on the excuses. Oh, the Caps were tired, the Blues had a viral infection, the Oilers are the Oilers. Forget that this is Vancouver's 3rd game in 4 days in 3 different cities, only the other team is allowed to have that excuse. Or maybe, just maybe the Canucks actually played better than the other team tonight, huh? Always gonna be one of those guys. Not much we can do about it. Guest Dasein
Just a side note... Kesler - 9GP 3G 4A 7P -1 (5 points on PP) Bonino - 8GP 3G 4A 7P +3 (0 points on PP) You forgot Kesler - age 30 $5.0million cap hit for next 2 years Bonino - age 26 $1.9million cap hit for next 3 years

The-Impersonator
I love the passing tonite, they read off each other well and no unforced penalties (the one on Burr was very borderline and a rep call not Burr's play itself) Dorsett controlled aggression and Kass kept it simple and worked well tonite (the refs and the other team are intimidated by him without him really having to do anything) Miller was steady, and Vey was a very strong -2 and seemed a threat all nite.Bonino great on faceoffs. I agree. The passing was very crisp and quick. Seems they are moving their feet a lot more especially on the pp. A complete change from standing around in front of the net trying to block shots #torts
Plum
Everyone played alright except for Matthias and Weber. Weber was okay but he needs to be better when the Capitals scored their first goal he was way too low to break up the pass. Matthias is just a fast player running around, he needs to be an aggressive forechecker, go to the net and win puck battles he's a big guy after all. Sbisa getting more confident with the puck this game, I didn't see any mistake from him this game although he does look shaky with the puck on his stick. Bonino is playing great, slick player who can dish the puck as one of the best on our teams. He can shoot and his defence was really solid, broke up alot of passes. Kassian is improving, had good hits and almost scored. Richardson is playing hard against hard players, he's grinding away and trying to hold the fort as a 3rd line centre when he's more of a 4th line centre. Higgins is a nice fit for Bonino as they got some good offensive skills, Burrows isn't that great though IMO. He's not really impressing as much as I want him to, I'd like to see Vey with Bonino eventually. Dorsett, Hansen and Vey all playing hard hockey, relentless and creating chances offensively. I feel they are playing better than our 4th line. Edler and Tanev are our best pairing, Edler is just a whole different person, physical enough, positionally sound, shooting the puck hard on net and he is doing well on the point on the PP. Tragoedia
You forgot Kesler - age 30 $5.0million cap hit for next 2 years Bonino - age 26 $1.9million cap hit for next 3 years This is good news for us. Kesler is still the better defensive player, so in a 1v1 thing he wins hands down, (although age and cap hit makes it closer). But the deal also netted us Sbisa, McCann, and Dorsett, so it makes it even at worst. Even if Sbisa doesn't make it beyond a #7-8 defenseman that still is an excellent fourth liner and a prospect who is tearing it up in the juniors (with a similarly projected upside). I think the Canucks got what they deserved from the deal and the Ducks got what they wanted. Fair trade.

amitriptyline
Good game. Nice goal and play by Bonino. Its great that the 2nd line is starting to click and become really productive. Its understandable that he needed a little time not only with new team mates/system and all but also playing as a top six forward is also new for him, and he hasn't disappointed a bit. I agree with the comments about Mathias though. He has not done enough to earn a spot and I am looking forward to getting Horvat back as well, and hopefully seeing Mathias sitting out. I'm stoked about Horvat making his debut soon.
Rush17
All I'm going to say. What turned out to be the: Bonino, Sbisa, McCann, Dorsett for Kesler deal is looking genius now lol. :D. We drafted a sick prospect in McCann and the three guys in the lineup are really starting to click. Its exciting hockey to watch again. I hope it keeps up. Reminds me of the good old west coast express days. I love it.
Rush17
Did anyone listen to the game on the radio? The play by play caller really needs to work on his calling lol. He freezes up when they score and takes 10 seconds to collect his thoughts to tell us who scored. He was a little better in this game compared to the last. But he needs to work on this skillz. Hope one of the more experienced casters can give him some pointers. Like his energy though definitely good. :D Keep up the hard work our new play by play caster!
