I remember somewhere him saying he wants to play to 50. If anyone can, its Jags....but being realistic, I doubt he makes it past 45.

Moonshinefe
1-4 more years to be realistic. His point production can still hover around 40-50pts even if he's lost half a step. He can protect the puck better than the vast majority of NHL players still (Thornton and Hossa come to mind in the same league), and he still has a nose for the net and insanely high hockey IQ. I think it'll all depend on if he gets injuries. That's unfortunately what it comes down to at his age. He's a huge guy though, so you never know... -AJ-
It's pretty crazy to have witnessed such an incredible career. And to think I've only witnessed the 2nd half of it.
NatureBoy
Jags is unreal, one of my favorite players. I was just thinking the other day this guy played in 1991, when I was born and still playing til this day in 2014. But Jagr is still a very good player considering his age, and can produce, He was never a fast player, but has size and sill uses his size well and his tough to knock off the puck. And his hands are still just as good.

-Vintage Canuck-
He said he wants to play till 50. I could see him playing in the NHL for at least another two years. He has gone through all three lockouts and spent three seasons in Europe. Had there been no lockout and/or if he had never went to Europe to play for three seasons, he could easily have been second in all-time points right now. JeremyCuddles
He's been in the NHL longer then I've been alive. And still wants to go into his 50s. Guy's a freak. I hope he makes it, that'd be one hell of an accomplishment.

Everybody loses a step as they age and that decline in athletic ability hits some harder than most but he's still a beast. It's all old-man strength, tremendous skill, and sheer wiliness. I hope he sticks around longer honestly. Some guys should just retire, but I think Jags can keep playing for a while and I want to see him continue to build his legend for European hockey. He'll never pass Gretzky but I think he could become #2 all time in points.

HerrDrFunk
Until he's 50? Please. Jagr is going to die on the bench in the 2037 season right after scoring his 1200th goal.
