[value of] Rundblad or Pokka

both of these D for chicago are right handed shots with offensive instincts.

Chicago has clendening making his nhl debut this year and showing that he can belong with the big club.

So is there a way we could acquire either of these guys via the trade route, what would it cost?

thanks for the input and suggestions

Does runblad need to go into waivers. If he does there is a very good chance he may get waived if he can't compete with the hawks d core. I would give a third for runblad. Pokka I have no idea what his value is and doesn't he play for the islanders

they have "potential" so obviously it's gonna cost us a 1st, Horvat AND Matthias.

right?

Am I CDC'ing properly?

i usually agree with alot of what you said, but this literally has nothing to do with what i wrote. thats just plain sillyness, im not asking for keith in this topic

No no, I am trying to underscore an ongoing point no making fun of your thread or proposals.

I truly don't know enough about either player besides bio's to actually estimate a cost analysis for a trade but I don't see it being very much when you consider the depth in front of them.

But, the wild card is Chicago's cap issues and the potential that there will be NO cap raise next year which so many teams were counting on. In that event you can actually anticipate Chicago and the Bowmans jettisoning as much hard cap as they can including Seabrook and more, so they might hold a much higher value as is on those two players than we can capably estimate.

thats true. if they would move seabrook instead id have no probly with that. but it would cost us too much. Id rather get a younger defender we can grow and develop a bit for when bieksa leaves or signs his last deal etc. Also I am interested to see what GM JB does when it comes to our fa's and the contracts he offers to them

i would think rundblad would be close to his value of last year he and another prospect for a 2nd rounder so

grenier and a 4th for either of them might be an offer they consider, we dont have our 3rd i dont believe or id offer a 3rd straight up and see if they bite

Rundblad is a pending RFA so if we really want him we can offer sheet him and with the cap crunch Chicago are in we could get him for close to nothing.

we could but we might need d depth this season. plus if we move an ahl or echl contract and a pick for him we dont use up our last contract we have available of our 50 or close to it

Chicago just paid a 2nd round pick and Arizona is retaining a chunk of his salary so I don't see him going anywhere. Right now Rundblad is Chicago's 7th defenseman and while there's no guarantee he'll stick around next season I believe he will. Chicago will lose Rozsival and maybe Oduya and the young guys like Rundblad, van Reimsdyk, Dahlbeck and Clendening need to step up.

Pokka is in the next crop of young defensemen along with Johns and I don't see either being included in a trade.
