As per Aaron Portzline, writer for the Blue Jackets at The Columbus Dispatch, reports a potential trade between the Oilers and Blue Jackets centered around David Perron and Artem Anisimov:

@Aportzline: Hearing chatter that a deal between #CBJ and #Oilers is well along in the process. @TSNAaronWard mentions Perron and Anisimov as likely

Wow Taylor hall post game is just sad can hear the depression in his voice ! They need to do something ! Going to mentally crush the talent they have beyond repair !

They have nurse and schults, this team doesn't need offence they need defence why doesn't oilers management get this? Look at calgary a decent defense is what you need along with a decent goaltender. Oilers think they will get better if they get artem amnisov lol

Makes sense. Columbus can use Dubinsky as a center, plus they have Jenner, Wennberg and Dano coming up. Trading Anisimov for a winger like Perron, who can replace Horton, won't hurt them at all.

For the Oilers, it won't fix their problem. Anisimov is good, but he isn't a 1st line center, I doubt he'll take RNH's spot. Would be better to go blockbuster and trade for Johansen, throwing Eberle and Yakupov in.

Anisimov>Perron. I'd gladly do this as Edmonton, as Anisimov can kick Arcobello out of the 2nd line spot. Columbus could use a winger to replace Horton, and Perron could modestly do that...if he doesn't continue his awful season.
