San Jose: Edmonton 2015 1st Edmonton: Joe Pavelski Oilers are in a real desperate situation. I honestly feel that management would be willing to part with their 2015 1st round pick if the fans and hockey world continue to basically point and laugh San Jose I think will enter a sort of rebuild after this season (after all they already have contemplated it for the last 3-4 seasons), and to get a high end prospect like they could with that pick would be worth giving away someone like little Joe. I was so dumbfounded that the Oilers didn't trade down that year, and I know many others were as well. I wasn't dumbfounded that they didn't trade down out of the top 5-10 though. If there's any defenceman Nashville will trade it'll most likely be Jones and honestly Edmonton could be the perfect trade partner if the Oilers finish low enough.
