THERETOOL
can't win every game folks .. were nearing the end of a long hard road trip .. not sure what you people expect .. the reffing was brutal .. just brutal .. they took away any and all the momentum we had .. and they were managing the game in a huge way .. ill take the point .. thought it was a very entertaining game as well
Absent Canuck
I thought Eddie played well. He was under siege most of the night. At least we got a point.
higgyfan
Try not to bash the boys too much tonight, guys. Dealing with all those penalties on the end of a long road trip left them pooped out. They tried hard but their legs wouldn't carry them. On to the next one. Go Canucks Go.
Duodenum
Should've gotten the win in regulation with the Vrbata early whistle.
-SN-
Just keep in mind folks this was the second game of a back to back on the tail-end of a long roadtrip. It's not an excuse but it's a factor. They guys were bagged by the third period, and the game management in the second period definitely did not help. Also that Vrbata goal should have counted. Unreal early whistle on that. All in all, I'm happy with the point, and the road trip in general.
buggy3d
Daniel had an odd-man rush and instead of scoring, he hits the breaks and completely wastes the play. If I were WD, I would give him a hard time in the dressing rooms. The Sedins need to take confidence and shoot the puck!
shazzam
Bieksa- never held accountable. How does it help when one of the "leaders" of the team sucks it up game in and game out
Ghostsof1915
Heh, almost sounds like a haiku. Hockey Haiku?
DollarAndADream
Has a chance to shoot puck in OT. Passes to Tanev instead. You're supposed to be a goal scorer Daniel, Jesus Christ. Where was that slapper he used a few games ago?
Tortorella's Rant
Couldn't put 60 minutes together in Detroit. Couldn't do it in Toronto. Couldn't in Ottawa. Couldn't in Columbus despite the win. Worrisome.
rotiman187
Groups gotta regroup. They need to stop passing it back into their own zone. I cant count the amount of times they did this and lost the puck. Hopefully we beat the Habs, 4-2-1 is still a solid record on the longest road trip of the season. M A K A V E L I 96
The league needs coach's challenge for clear cut, critical ref mistakes like Vrbata's 2nd goal that was waved off.
-Vintage Canuck-
"We had the lead but we got into penalty trouble and they got rolling. We lost the momentum and couldn't get it back" - Radim Vrbata

DownUndaCanuck
Say what you guys want about all the penalties and leaving us with an exhausted team, but good teams like the Kings and Blackhawks see that adversity, battle through it and come out with the win. If we had won this game in overtime it would have been a much better playoff indicator than a 4-0 win because it would have shown that we can battle through adversity and overcome a bit of uncontrollable negativity. Instead we blow the game winner with sloppy sloppy defence and back checking. This Canucks team has been terrible 4-on-4, mainly because of very lazy Sedin passing and back checking. yoshiyoshi
refs handed ottawa that first goal, and denied us the a 4th with that quick whistle
CANUCK-EXPRESS
Canucks can't move forward with the defence we have. Even with Hamhuis they're still not good enough.
Tambellini's Wrist Shot
The league needs coach's challenge for clear cut, critical ref mistakes like Vrbata's 2nd goal that was waved off. Wouldn't have made a difference. Ottawa would have tied the game with the empty net and won it in OT anyways.
SvenBae
Relax everybody. Team clearly looked tired tonight and penalties didn't help.
