I live in a one bedroom apartment, one cat or one dog would be too much. And I'm away from home for 12 hours a day. That's not fair to an animal to be alone that long. I know my limits. And I love animals enough to know I won't be able to give them the best possible care and attention.My 81 year old uncle travels around in a motorhome and his cat travels with him.Many days he is out of the motorhome for 8-12 hour stretches at a time.When he needs to fly somewhere the cat flies with him.Cats are very independent and can do just fine as long as there is food,water and a litter box.They can get by on basic human attention.Dogs are another kettle of fish,altogether.http://holidays.canucks.com/Click on it and there is a pic of Burr with a kitten that is holding a letter.Click on the letter and you will find a holiday message from Trevor Linden.
