The Analyst
My keeper pool counts goals and assists as 1 Shots and hits 0.1 0.5 for +/- Trade offered is James Neal For Brock Nelson Who do you think wins the deal?
literaphile
It depends. Are the forward positions separate (LW/C/RW), or just the F position? If just F, then the trade is basically a wash, at least based on this year's stats. If the positions are separate it may make a slight difference but they're still very close in terms of value. Keep in mind that Nelson is also 4 years younger so you'll get more production in the long term, which is important for a keeper league.

Long term production is honestly pretty irrelevant unless you know for sure your league will be around for 5+ years and you'll be playing. 5 Years is a long time to play and not make a better trade. Does your league do playoffs? The trade is pretty even, but if you are getting offered it, that means the other GM wants something you have - I'd use that to leverage an extra pick and/or dump a player you'd like to move. The Analyst
Fairly confident the league will be around... This is year 4... We don't do any playoffs. I'm just worried about where nelson falls on depth chart in new York. And what kind of I've time he'll get 5v5
