Gstank29
http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=122837&encode=TRUE What do you guys think. He's a 23 Russia that was 10 goals and 15 assists this year in the KHL. IF he willing to come to the NHL do you think Vancouver would be interested in getting him? Haven't looked into highlights yet but i found his stat line extremely interesting. Especially those 10 goals on a larger European Ice surface http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=34773 Listed at 6'1

elvis15
Love that movie. size? Apparently 6'1", 188 pounds. http://en.khl.ru/players/16024/ Looks like he didn't really start producing until 2 years ago, and even then the 10 goals would be more impressive if it were on the smaller ice surface, not the larger. S N Y P E R S 7
Has somebody been looking at old world junior material? hahah. All honesty, there are a lot of better NCAA Defence free agents like Ahti Oksanen, AKA antioxidant, and Casey Nelson. With the KHL you never know where their loyalties lie, and what they really want by coming to North America. Test the waters? Stay here for good and make a living and a life here? It's all up in the air, and their choice individually. If they want to come over, they will.
Derp...
Must be a reason he hasn't been over, but if he came over I wouldn't say no.
-AJ-
Not bad, but I don't see him being able to make it beyond the AHL. Obviously, I know next to nothing about him except what you've shared, but those numbers as a 23 year old seem fairly normal. The KHL pretty much = AHL level in my mind, and 25 points in 47 in the KHL equals the same in the AHL in my mind. If he was putting up those numbers as a 20-year old or younger, I'd be quite impressed.
Baer.
He would just be another 3rd line tweener over here. At least in Russia he can play in his home country and probably make the same amount of money. Look, I've seen threads like this before. A player is doing decent in the K and all of a sudden we have to bring them over. Only thing is, if you haven't brought them over the pond before they are 21, there's no point anymore. He's already started his career in the KHL. He'll probably get more money an playing time in the KHL as well.
WHL rocks
They just talked about this kid on HNIC. His agent said the kid will be coming over to North America next year for sure. Freid said Flyers, Leafs, Canucks, Kings and Flames have expressed interest. He also said there will be more teams interested.Plays for CSKA Moscow. 24 year old R Shot Dman. His stats are solid so why not. One thing Benning is really good at is scouting. Like Jonathon Marting and Reid Gardiner who were both invited to the prospect camp this year have been among the top scorers in the dub.

This guy will get guaranteed NHL time with whom ever he signs. Not AHL and work your way up. He's a player.
WHL rocks
Looks like i was on the ball last year LOLYou sure were Gstank. Good call. Looks like he's going to have a lot of teams chasing him. Hope we land him but I doubt it. He's got friends in Toronto and was there recently. Met with the Leafs and they love the kid. Flyers have been chasing him for a long time and they can guaranty him NHL spot. Flyers D sucks so it'll be a lot easier for this guy to make that team as well as the Leafs. Other than that I don't know too much about the kid and what his preference would be, so I'll defer to you as you are obviously familiar with his situation.
