Stephen Fry: "Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid God who creates a world full of injustice"

Gross-Misconduct

Because god made human beings and gave them with all the information they need to live peacefully. But they choose to live it injustice.

Also because human beings made God to explain everything they didn't understand and to represent the moral side of them.

Who made the Big Bang? God did it

Whenever some athiest asks you that question, give them that reply and watch what happens.

The answer is always

Prove it

Ask any religious thinking individual to answer that statement and watch what happens. :P

Stephen Fry is a good enough guy. He says what a lot of people think and he doesn't sugar coat it. His simple response of people hiding behind god because they're not brave enough to admit they're bigots, racists, homophobes, cowards and bullies was what made me stand up and cheer for some of his statements.

As a free thinking human being under 65 years of age he's done more to push forward positive thinking and self betterment than religion has done in the last thousands years

Well. Honestly he's just doing it with words and well founded arguments.

When religion lashes out it is usually followed by stoning, beheading, isolation, hanging, burning, jailing, imprisonment, molestation, rape, theft, ostracization or torture. Sometimes just censure but mostly the other stuff.

Atheists are almost as pushy as those with religion, but.....
