No Big Bang? New physics model shows universe might have existed forever

So, you trust other books written about other people by other people. Which do you believe existed. Hitler, Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, Jesus, Mozart and why?

You have photos and videos of Hitler, but the rest must never have existed.

You make a valid point here and to answer simply, historical record is just that a record, and for the record they all existed including a man named Jesus.

As for the origins of said individuals or the validity of their feats and endeavors that's where we must stop thinking it is gospel truth so to speak lol sorry couldn't resist :P

The fact is if we witnessed an event simultaneously standing side by side, then were asked later what transpired ? There is an insanely large chance that our stories will differ in one way or another. Just like legends or accounts of past figures and their deeds. As time passes fear of forgetting the events led to keeping records.

Unfortunately Moses n his crew weren't rockin go pro's during the parting of the Red Sea so I'ma call bs on that one if it's okay ?

A seas worth of salt :bigblush:

and care to elaborate on not calling it bs ?

Innocent until proven guilty? But I doubt you'll ever be able to disprove it happened.

Also, it was the "Sea of Reeds" that was parted (to be more accurate).

Edit: Hey did you check out those chapters from Job? Did they fit in with with your theory of tetrahedral dynamics?

There is not a book written, passed down from generation to generation, written from multiple perspectives of the flying spaghetti monster.

That book hasn't predicted over 2,000 events that would happen and did happen.

Let's do this. I will disprove the spaghetti thing and you go disprove the bible. I wish be done way before you and you will be a Christian.

Neither has the Bible really. History repeats itself, eventually all predictions have threads of truth. It seems to be interpretive. Your glass might be half full on that I guess.

The Spaghetti thing is satire, and is resulting in veiled civil disobedience. There is nothing to prove or disprove.

The vast majority of the quoted prophecies are "proven" within the same book lol. Hardly makes it a prediction if the result is written by the same group of authors.

If those predictions were actually predictive, It'd make me a believer.

So since the bible was written at some point, before it had the chance to get passed down from generation to generation, it wasn't true then, but now it is? I know it's easier to believe stuff that's very old and mystical, but let's not get carried away here, it's hardly proof of the bible's divinity. And if it was, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the other holy books that predate yours.

As for the predictions, just because you're an Olympian at mental gymnastics doesn't mean those predictions actually came true. If, however, you'd like to go down this road, you'll have to explain how the prophesies in the Koran came to be if it's not also divine.

That's some seriously juvenile logic you're using.

PS. Are we not talking about 99 year old worm food anymore?

Why do I need to explain anything to you? If you want answers find them yourself. I know where I am in life, I know what is true and you can believe whatever you like.

I was like you. Asking others to explain things to me. Pick up the Bible and have a read. It is a fantastic book, even if you choose to view it as fictional.

because you can't, there is just as much evidence for them as for your Jesus guy, this is your way of saying:

No, it means I don't need to. Someone who says there is no evidence of Jesus, yet you can look to Muslims etc books just lacks the intelligence of having a conversation and is obviously trolling.
