S N Y P E R S 7
Noah Juulsen - D - WHL - Everett Silvertips - #3 SHOOTS: Right HEIGHT: 6'01 WEIGHT: 181lbs BIRTHDATE: 1997-04-02 HOMETOWN: Abbotsford , BC Interesting two-way defenceman with decent skill and is willing to play the physical game. Playing on the top pairing of Everett, so his development will go smoothly and quickly. I project him to go in the second round, and eventually be a solid two-way D. A solid two-way defender, Noah Juulsen is able to force plays and always find ways to support his teammates. Juulsen is a smooth, yet not dynamic skater, and is mobile when he needs to be. Plays with a chip on his shoulder, and isn't afraid to take the hit to make the play. Sees the ice well and has the individual skills to carry out the possibilities he sees. Very poised with the puck; calm and controls the play with authority. Has good hands. Without the puck and in high-pressure situations, Juulsen tends to overthink things and can try to do a little too much; that will go away with time and maturity. All-in-all, an impactful presence on the ice that strives to be difficult to play against; given how hard he works and how smart he is with the puck, he can be a very difficult player to read with and without the puck. CRAZY_4_NAZZY
I said it in the Canucks 2015 draft thread and I will say it again...I want Juulsen if he is there when we pick in the second round. Willing combatant, willing to initiate physicality and has a solid/sound two way game to compliment his edge. We do have edge with Cederholm and Stewart on the backend but their skill is nowhere close to what Juulsen does. Juulsen being a BC kid is just icing on the cake but take that away and he is a solid package.
ken kaniff
Im all for it. Just gotta make sure he's a canucks fan. There's always some d-bags from the vancouver area who hate the canucks because they want to be different.
S N Y P E R S 7
Some think he's worthy of a late-first round pick. It's starting to look more like early-second. He seems to be the WHL version of the QMJHL's Nicolas Meloche, and a polar opposite of the WHL's Brandon Carlo.

There's always some d-bags from the vancouver area who hate the canucks because they want to be different. well to be honest, he has no choice who drafts him. 100% of all draftees. If he's a true sport he will accept whichever team drafts him, even if its a team he hates.
