theminister
I found it very interesting that he says he doesn't have a problem with Jensen on the 3rd or 4th line.
Squeak
Which is probably why he was called up today.
Herberts Vasiljevs
I found it very interesting that he says he doesn't have a problem with Jensen on the 3rd or 4th line. I don't see it as a issue either. Nothing wrong with incubating your prospects in the minors, and then slowly imbedding them into your NHL lineup. It's important for the young players to get a feel for the NHL environment and feel comfortable while they're there.

It's just a nice answer to all of the posters, especially in the new thread about him being recalled, who believe he has to be in a top 6 role immediately to be any help to the big club. The GM doesn't feel that way.
c00kies
No kidding, midterms just have to be close to the trade deadline as well. Arg. I had an evening mid-term last year. Found out about the Luongo trade before the exam. I also had one when Hodgson was traded and didn't find out until 9PM because I thought the TD was done and went to study. theminister
Also interesting to note that there are 4 D covered. And all 4 are actually worth talking about. Who woulda thunk the Canucks had D prospects? Actually we have more, right? Tryamkin, Corrado, Hutton, Andersson…..etc. Shhh.... Don't tell CDC. TOMapleLaughs
It's a lot easier putting guys on so-called 3rd or 4th lines when there isn't much of a difference between those lines and the 1st and 2nd lines.
