Ronalds.Kenins41
Forwards and Defense men with expiring contracts Goalies (just Markstrom) Prospects Cap Space Forwards Keep in this order 1. Matthias 2. Kenins 3. Dorsett 4. Vey Let go 1. Richardson 2. McMillian Defense Keep 1. Tanev 2. Corrado 3. Stanton 4. Clendenning Let go 1. Sbisa (We can't afford him) 2. Weber 3. Biega Goalies Keep tough to call. Prospects/Minor leagues Keep 1. Erikkson 2. Grenier 3. Cannata 4. Archibald Let go 1. Friesen 2. Sangetti 3. Zalewski Either way, Benning has some very tough decisions to make this offseason considering the cap increase might just be only 2 or 3 million dollars. What's your order for who should be kept? Jiggs50
Mathias should be retained. 6'4 top 9 forwards are hard to come by. He's fairl young too. Don't give him more than 3.5 million though. Tanev's got to go if we want to retain Dorsett and Kenins. Corrado can fill in nicely. Higgins should be moved too. Need every bit of his 2.5 cap hit. Mimerez
Matthias, Dorsett, Vey, Tanev, Corrado, Clendening and Markstrom are the ones that we should resign imo.

I think if we get rid richardson and sbisa we can use that cap space to resign Tanev, Maithas, Dorsett and Kenins at the very least.
-AJ-
Tanev is an absolute must to keep. I'd also strongly recommend keeping Kenins. He's playing surprisingly well with Bo.

BCNeil
I have a feeling that if we do have any success in the playoffs, Dorsett could be a big part of it. That being said, he might have options for next year better than the Canucks can afford.

Mathew Barzal
Sell high on either Matthias or Bonino. I'm not even joking. One or the other should be 3C behind Horvat next year.

Hunter.S-Kerouac
People who I doubt will be with the org to start next season are. Sestito, McMillan, Higgins, Richardson, Sbisa, Weber, 2 of our top 4 Goaltenders, Bo Sang and Willy Action.

ABNuck
If we look ahead at who we could possibly have here next year and work backwards from there, then we get an idea of who might be gone to make that happen. So I figure we make a couple deals this weekend/Monday: Deal #1 we make with NSH (they're all in + Bieksa drops to 2.5m next year) TO NSH - Bonino/Bieksa/Biega/7th TO VAN - Ellis/1st (It'll be a low 1st) Deal #2 we make with BOS (they need to cut cap next off-season but still keep their foot on the pedal right now) TO BOS - Higgins/Dorsett/6th (can drop Dorsett as UFA to re-sign their younger RFA's) TO VAN - Eriksson/3rd Offseason deal: TO ANA - Hansen/4th TO VAN - rights to Beleskey TO PHI - Lack/5th TO VAN - 2nd (Gives us 2 x 1st + 2 x 2nd + 1 x 3rd in 2015 draft) Re-signs: Vey 2.500 avg x 3 (2.000 / 2.500 / 3.000) Matthias 2.500 x 2 Beleskey 2.400 x 2 Richardson 1.250 x 1 (safety signing in case young centre doesn't make team) Kenins 1.250 x 1 (give him 1 full season on 4th to see if there's anything there) McMillan 1.250 x 1 (keep the home town kid cheap) Tanev 4.000 avg x 4 (3.500 / 4.000 / 4.000 / 4.500) Sbisa 3.000 x 3 Clendening 1.750 avg x 2 (1.500 / 2.000) Corrado 1.750 avg x 2 (1.500 / 2.000) Markstrom 1.625 x 2 So this gives us: Sedin/Sedin/Vrbata/Horvat/Eriksson/Kassian/Vey/Burrows/Matthias/Beleskey/Richardson/Kenins + McMillan/??? spare Edler/Tanev/Hamhuis/Ellis/Sbisa/Clendening/Corrado Miller/Markstrom Total 2015/16 cap hit 73.500 mil
Hunter.S-Kerouac
Why Sbisa ? His contract will be up and I would rather give Tanev a raise than Sbisa. The price to qualify him (Sbisa) will be more than he is worth. I would be surprised if he is back.
