Orka
VS Where: When: Canucks record: 72GP 2nd Pacific 42-26-4 (Last 10: 6-3-1) Current Streak: W2 Jets record: 72GP 2nd Wildcard 37-23-12 (Last 10: 6-3-1) Current Streak: W4 Keys to the Game Keep attacking on the rush. For the first time in what seems like ages, the Canucks power play has some momentum. They've scored in consecutive games for the first time since January 1 & 3. They're looking to make it three straight for the first time since October. Vancouver went 0-for-6 against Winnipeg in their first meeting this season. Get to Pavelec quickly. Ondrej Pavelec may be red hot right now but he has been known to be shaky. If he gets the call tonight, it'll be the first time he has started games on consecutive nights since November 15 & 16. The last time he did he gave up three goals on 11 shots in the first period and was promptly yanked in a loss to Minnesota. The WSS line stays hot. It's no secret the engine that drives the Jets these days is the red hot trio of Wheeler-Scheifele-Stafford. Since being put together as a makeshift trio on March 14, the three have combined for eight goals and 17 points. The Canucks need to be wary anytime these three step onto the ice. By the Numbers .800 Win percentage for the Canucks against the Jets since they moved to Winnipeg (4-1-0). 4 Straight home wins for the Canucks over the Jets/Thrashers franchise (3 straight since relocation to Winnipeg). 4 Straight games with a point for Daniel Sedin (2-4-6) entering play tonight. 6 Straight games with a point for Jets forward Drew Stafford (4-4-8) entering play tonight. #700 Career game for Jets forward Lee Stempniak tonight. 1996Last time that the Canucks and the "Jets" both made the NHL playoffs. The Jets have been heating up just in time for the playoff push and the Canucks have been clawing to gain separation from Calgary and LA. Both teams need this win to greatly help their playoff chances so expect a dogfight! Nux Lineup (projected): Danny-Hank-Burr Higgins-Bones-Vrby Matthias-Vae-Dorsett "Crash" Kenins-BoHo-Honey Badger Edler-Tanman Bieska-Sbisa Hamhoos-Shea Weber Eddie the stork Jets Lineup (projected): Ladd-Lowry-Frolik Stafford-Scheifele-Wheeler Tlusty-Slater-Stempniak Thorburn-O'Dell-Halischuk Enstrom-Myers Stuart-Trouba Harrison-Pardy Pavelec

apollo
No buff or little expected for tonight vs the Oilers or us tomorrow. Gotta win this. Although I'd prefer to lose a few games and finish 3rd in the division so we get home ice advantage. Because if we finish 2nd and get actual home ice at Rogers Arena, it'll be a major disadvantage. This team clearly plays better on the road away from the funeral house that is rogers arena.
hatedkid666
They looked like they're pretty banged up, especially at centre - Lowry 1st line centre? Yikes. Hopefully we can pull away with a win in this one. I say 4-2 Canucks Dorsett Bieksa Vey Vrbata(PP)

ruilin96
I hope the Canucks wins this one again in OT. Why? So we get 2 points and the Jets would also end up with 1 more to keep the LA Kings further out of the playoffs!
Teen Icarus
I really hope the Canucks show up for this one. Regrettably, it seems highly unlikely we get our first 3rd win in a few months.
Caledonian Canuck
Any kind of two points will do me, thanks. Long overdue a first goal of the season from Dan Hamhuis, the game winning goal would be nice! GO CANUCKS GO!

Ronalds.Kenins41
This will be a great game, hard to tell who's going to win given both teams are playing great right now. Can't wait for it to begin. Go Canucks Go.

cbdoubleu
Last Canucks / Jets game was definitely a candidate for game of the year. Fun fact: The Canucks have 21 wins against the East, most in the Western Conference. They also have 22 road wins. Again, best in the West. Seeing as this is a home game against a Western opponent, none of those facts will come in to play.
