TheRussianRocket.
@TSNBobMcKenzie: Derek Dorsett has a new four-year deal with VAN. AAV is $2.65M. Great deal. Tad pricy but retaining a guy like Dorsett, it's well worth it. Some things you can't put a price on. Wonder what Sbisa gets? Hope it's under $3-$3.5. Anything more would be too much imo....and I wonder what Matthias gets now? Does he or does he walk
jovocop55
A bit too much especially with the cap might be going down..
canucks411
Up to 2.65m from 1.633m this year. Pretty good raise, but he's exactly what the team needs in the bottom 6. Quick, hits, passion, and can put some points up. I like Dorsett but his new cap hit is more than Higgins, Bonino, Matthias, Hansen hmmmm..... Goal:thecup
He was an Unrestricted free agent. He would have been receiving very good offers. Glad we locked him up. What is Luca's deal?
sonoman
Seems a bit pricey. Hard worker and all, but 2 or 2.1 would have been better ( still a decent raise)
cyoung
Long contract for a line 4 grinder but he's played great for us so I'm not to upset. Not sure what sbisa contract will be like
awalk
Woohoo!!! Gotta keep that bottom 6 legit. Not a bad cap hit for Dorsett. Definition of intangibles.
Bobby_Lu1ngo
Dorsett adds an element to our team that no other player in our organization can. Im happy to have him re-signed and decent money too. It keeps him tradeable if need be. Remember how much we were missing when we lost torres and dorsett brings all of that.
Goat James
Isn't 2.5 a bit high for a fourth liner...? Especially if the term is four years? Dorsett has been great for us, but still, that's a lot of cap for a long time.
MrCanuck94
Not too worried about the cap with more rookies making the team. Dorsett deserves it. Also happy with Luca re-signing, he has improved a lot since the start of the season, hope he keeps it up and develops well!
