Donations to Canuck Place Children's Hospice if the Canucks win

I usually did this when we were on the brink, but it's that time of year again, and given the negativity across the fanbase after last night I think it's best to inject a little positivity into things. For those of you that don't remember or weren't here, we've done this before back in 2012 during the Kings series and raised $900 (or thereabouts) for our win in Game 4.

I'll donate $10 regardless and an additional $10 for every Canuck win in the series. Some of you will probably ask why people don't just donate anyway, but I find that this makes things more interesting, encourages more people to donate to a worthy cause and makes every win that bit more rewarding. There are more important things in life than hockey as most people close to Canuck Place will no doubt testify.

If you don't wish to be involved, that's totally fine. All I ask is that posts in this thread are of a serious and respectful nature.

Cheers

I think Canuck Place is awesome, however, I won't be doing this again.

Last time I did it in the playoffs, I got non-stop emails, etc. from them. I unsubscribed to their pushy emails, yet EVERY SINGLE ONE was 'a new campaign' and I had to unsubscribe every single time. That was no bloody help, and I finally had to send more than one very firm email to them letting them know I did not WANT any emails, and I would donate when I could / wanted to.
